STAG - Thursday 21st June - Glasgow Spring Series 2012 7th of 8

STAG’s fourth event returned to Pollok Country Park on a fairly miserable evening with the sudden growth creating several issues around control sites.
Many, many thanks for your support.

The moral of the series is use Mugdock, Dawsholm & Pollok in late April or early May before the undergrowth explodes !!!!

Hope to see you all at Rouken Glen next Thursday evening.

Map of Glasgow - Pollok Country Park MapTerrain description

Glasgow’s largest park has undergone a transformation & the Orienteering Permanent Course is a welcome addition to the facilities available to the public.

The City Council’s rhododendron project to contain the spread of this vegetation ended in 2009 but did not result in every rhododendron bush being shredded.
