The New Year kicks off with the STAG Winter SCORE Series consisting of 3 such events, a South of Scotland District League Event & Night Events on Wednesday evenings.

1st Event -Sunday 4th - Pollok Country Park - Burrell Car Park (Parking Fee Charged)

Registration from 10.30am         Mass Start at 11am   Follow signs from M8 > M77 > Burrell Car Park.

Pre-entries by email guarantees your map with payment on the day. 3 Time zones on offer to competitors of 40, 50 or 60 minutes with possible 21 controls - 9 @ 100pts (30s); 7 @ 200pts (40s) & 5 @ 300pts (50s)- to locate weighted in accordance to distance from Start / "Technical difficulty".

2nd Event - Wednesday 7th - STAG Night 1, Victoria Park. Email entries by Monday 5th January @ 10pm. Registration from 7.15pm. Starts 7.30 > 7.40pm. Sportident.

Starting & finishing at the main gate in Victoria Drive North. 16 controls. 5 "30s" ; 5 "40s" ; 5 "50s" & 1 "60". Using your skill, intelligence & fitness you have to visit controls in groups of 3 which must consist of a "30" + a "40" + a "50" then visit Control "60" before you can start your next trio. After your 5th trio go to "60" + then to Finish.

3rd Event- Sunday 11th - Strathclyde Country Park, Motherwell. 60 minute SCORE

Registration from 10.30am              Mass Start at 11am      

28 Controls - 9 - Numbered "31 > 39" - worth 100pts each; "41 > 49" - worth 200pts each ; "51 > 59" worth 300pts each & "60" worth 500pts. Penalty of 10pts off for every 6 seconds over the time allowed. Total possible is 5900pts. Estimated distance to visit all controls is approximately 14k.

4th Event - Wednesday 14th - STAG Night 2, Garscube Estate. Registration etc at main Car Park. Start & Finish at Bridge over the River Kelvin. 3 loops totalling approximately 4k.

5th Event - Sunday 18th - Drumpellier Country Park - Visitors Centre Car Park - South of Scotland Orienteering League

Registration from 10.30am                   Follow road signs from M8 & M73 to Drumpellier CP.

6th Event - Wednesday 21st STAG Night 3, Kelvingrove Park. Evens & Odds or Odds & Evens the choice is yours. 27 Controls which you may visit in any order but you must do all the Evens before you start the Odds or vice-versa. Estimated distance about 6k.

7th Event - Wednesday 28th STAG Night 4, Hogganfield Loch & Lethamhill Golf Course. XC Course with 15 controls - length 5.4k ; 60m climb. 4k if you don't wish the part round the Loch. New high boundary fence limits access points to Golf Course unfortunately.
