Explanation of Event levels
Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Activities are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Directions / Parking
Parking on Blochairn Rd - face east for easier access towards M8 Eastbound for Race 3 venue - then use footpath - O flag hung on fence corner - and then the footbridge to crossover the M8 to reach Alexandra Park's NW Corner by following red and white streamers. Clothing dump and a tin to leave car keys within retained by the Start Team.
Start and Finish adjacent to entrance. Warm Up on Sannox Gardens or Milnbank Estate. Please be courteous to residents.

Due to cutbacks the Sporthub is currently closed so we have NO ACCESS to toilets or an indoor area.

For reasons I have never understood, Alexandra Park possesses areas of very dense brambles/undergrowth. Full leg cover is strongly advised.
At this event you shall retain your SI finger and DOWNLOAD on arrival at the Race 3 venue - Drumpellier CP - no later than 1:15pm. On downloading you shall then work out your Start Time for Race 3 and write this onto your Race 3 map which must remain sealed.
