Explanation of Event levels
Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Activities are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Course Information
Format (subject to change depending on personnel attending)
7pm > 7:30pm - Training outside including Warming Up Session.
7:30pm > 7:40pm - Break
7:45pm > 8:15pm - Indoors, map work, revising basic Orienteering Skills
8:15pm > 8:30pm - Team Activities.
Projected timetable for Weeks 3 & 4
Week 3 - 6th November - Night Navigation Exercises/Compass & pacing in Maryhill Park (till 7:45pm). Preparation for STAG's 1st Dark Park Experience @ Kelvingrove on 13th November & SoSOL @ Loch Ordie (17 Nov). Information on DU'O' & 21st GPC.
Week 4 - 20th November - Sprint Knockout Races on Campus ( Handicapped). Preparation for SoSOL @ Duns Wood (24/11) & Dark Park Experience 2 @ Bellahouston Park ( 27/11).
