Explanation of Event levels
Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Activities are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Directions / Parking
On Shawmoss Road adjacent to 3rd Glasgow Scout Hall.
M8 or M74 > M77 > left onto Dumbreck Rd > right onto Haggs Rd
> left into Shawmoss Rd and park adjacent to Scout Hall on both sides
of the road.

By Train
Crossmyloof Station is a 5 minute walk
from the Scout Hall. Turn onto Titwood Road, Morrisons Supermarket on
your left, turn left onto Shawmoss Road.

Registration and Start times
All competitors need to check in at the Scout Hall before their run. Loose Control Descriptions can be collected at this point only.
Toilets are available within the Scout Hall.
Open from 5:45pm. Start location is 500m from the Scout Hall. Competitors are required to cross Haggs Rd at the pedestrian crossing 200m from Scout Hall then walk 300m along the exit road from The Burrell to The Start.
The Finish is located adjacent to the Nether Pollok Car Park.
Start times from 6:15pm as advised on SI Entries. Please make sure that you carry a spare torch/batteries and a whistle.
After your run a roll and a cup of soup shall be provided.
