Report

STAG Spring 3 was set to be a much larger than usual evening event but then a clash with the Annual Dumyat Hill race reduced numbers a bit.

Parking at Ravenswood Pitches was a necessity to cope with entries and this worked well.

My personal thanks firstly to Rudi for planning the Green/Light Green courses and covering download; to Gerry, John, Morven, Ross, Ceana and Fredrik for their support.

Spring 4 returns to Cumbernauld CP but with smaller numbers located in small car park adjacent to St.Andrew's / Cumbernauld Primaries. Entries open now.

Cumbernauld Community Park Control descriptions Green Light Green

Parking shall now be in the Bus Park and in the eastern Car Park of Our Lady's High School - as used for STAG SOUL 2022 - at the top of the hill on Dowanfield Road with a short walk downhill to the Start/Finish.

Wednesdays are a busy evening for Football Teams at Ravenswood Pitches so we have had to further adapt both the Yellow and Orange Courses. {planned by Terry}

The Yellow Course still remains totally within Ravenswood but the Orange Course starts with a loop crossing the M80 footbridge into the parkland of Balloch Estate - no roads crossed - then back across to Ravenswood extending into the Ravenswood LNR to the south.

Start and Finish adjacent to Pavilion.

Light Green and Green Courses {planned by Rudi} cross the M80 footbridge then visit one control within Balloch Estate en route to Cumbernauld Community Park. Two very quiet roads are crossed but care is still required and competitors should look both ways - signage shall be placed at these crossings.

Yellow and Orange maps shall be distributed at the registration point with no formal start times issued.

Start times shall be listed for Light Green and Green Courses from 1730hrs. A map at scale of 1:5,000 extended by Terry and drawn at ISOM 2017 specification shall be used although the overprint shall not be as ISSOM 2017 to enhance clarity - Super A3 size.
