STAGies on Tour 2023 part 2Adventurous Andy Goes Asian!
Hot off the press (10th August) is our correspondent in the Far East and I don't mean Carntyne!
Spreading his wings even further than normal STAG's most 'experienced' member is off trekking in the Himalayas. Before he ventures into the wild Andy took to time to send in some pics... enjoy.... Rudi, Andy says he is sorry that he can't be your Du'O' partner this year but possibly in 2024.
Currently Andrew is acclimatising in Leh, capital of Ladakh which i have never heard of.
STAGies on tour AGAIN! This time it’s @ancampbell314 and @ross_white taking part in some Pre-North American Champs events in San Francisco.
First event was a sprint around The Presidio with views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Alison described the race as “a runners course definitely, but some fun just to get into USA mapping and events again”. Alison tied 1st in W21 elite, with Ross coming 6th in M21e.
Day 2 was a middle in Golden Gate Park. Where clearly Alison was having too much fun and posing for the camera. Ross had this to say about the event “fun course, the parks in the US are very different then the parks at home, we don’t have lacrosse fields or bison in our parks! I’m very much enjoying my first orienteering events in the USA where I get to run a course.” Ross came 5th in M21e and Alison won W21e.
