Report

Sunday was a rather busy day as the 'Orienteering' began an hour before the main field arrived. I was able to set out 10 controls on Saturday pm & the rest on Sunday am.

Back in September 2019 a joint venture with NLC Duke of Edinburgh Award Programme began with basic 'O' Training for a number of Staff and with the help of several in the hour between 10am > 11am basic coaching - including a model event (that was why there was an SI Box 36) out there was undertaken by 21 students / 8 Staff.

The Students & several Staff then joined in our SCORE Event.

This year - due to flooding last week I had to avoid a few areas just in case primarily south of the railway & out west. Feedback would be welcome on 'The Control Card' & 'The Distance Indicators' - did anyone use them?

Having pleasant weather & an indoor area are a couple of bonuses. Thanks for supporting this Event & a really big thank-you to TEAM STAG - Hua, Lynn, Ceana, Helen, Gerry, Colin, Maz, Andy, Thomas, Mark, Peter & Rudi & to Robin for the computer back up ; Donald & Ian for their input and to the NLC Staff at Drumpellier CP.

STAG Score 4+ on 9th February is an Greenhead Moss with the parking in Newmains thus a 1km walk to the Start in the Memorial Park. I am still contemplating the location for the Finish.

Thanks again & have a nice week,

Terry
