Explanation of Event levels
Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Activities are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

STAG welcomes you to Bto SOUL 7 based at John Paul Academy, Glasgow G23.
The school incorporates The John Paul Glasgow Club run by Glasgow Life & we have hired the Gymnasium as our base.
Parking, toilets, changing rooms are all available on site.
Directions / Parking
From Glasgow City Centre A81 onto Maryhill Road. Pass large TESCO Store - under Forth & Clyde Canal - on passing St.Mary’s Primary School on your right hand side turn RIGHT at the next set of Traffic Lights - LEFT at next T-Junction - Under Railway - ahead to Mini-Roundabout then turn RIGHT onto Caldercuilt Road & ahead at next Mini-Roundabout. School on your RIGHT.
Or Balmore Road out of Glasgow . Turn onto Blackhill Road, Turn RIGHT at next T-Junction , Turn RIGHT onto Arrochar Street & John Paul Academy is on RIGHT. Continue to turn RIGHT at Mini-Roundabout.

This is a SPRINT MAP where crossability is mapped NOT runnability. Longest courses shall use back to back maps.
Note that most of the boundary fence around JPA is about 4 feet high with an flat top & for those with flexibility & a degree of athleticism could be crossed. There are also 4 gates available for the more intelligent persons.

Instead of a String Course, STAG’s “9 Tree Wood” Course shall be available free within the grounds of John Paul Academy.
One Start within School Grounds. Junior Finish within 100m of school ; Senior Finish in School Grounds.
First used in Autumn 2016, the map has been extended to cover Gilshochill area to the south.
The Junior Courses visit The Kelvin Walkway(could be a bit muddy in bits!), Caldercuilt Playing Fields & Maryhill Park
