STAG DU'O - 2 Person Relay No.808.Alexandra ParkSun 04 December, 2022
Regional level event
Explanation of Event levels
Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Activities are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Interesting day weather wise and lots of nice comments and happy, smiling faces makes all the work worthwhile - thank-you all.
My grateful thanks need go to:
+ John and Krystin of the Sports Hub for allowing STAG access to this great facility.
+Arnis for agreeing to plan as well as creating footage for his 2nd production for STAG TV on Youtube channel.
+to Lynn who decided that the lure of a nice indoor job would be an attractive option even though she had no previous knowledge of being in a warm room.
+ Robin and Sheila for supporting my primitive IT skills.
+ to Iain and Freya who assisted me outside.
+ STAG members who assisted in the derigging - Alison, Andy, Arnis, Ceana, Iain, Freyja, Gerry, John McK, Kenny, Marta, Ross and Simon.
+ To you the competitors for your support.
On the surface it may seem simple but relays can become over complicated and this can then increase the possibilities of errors when compiling maps per team. Thankfully no errors crept into the system.
Regards
Terry
Arnis' comments
Courses were planned to achieve a balance for handicap racing between distance and climb. Some actual control sites had to be suitable for 'camera-traps' although on the day I improvised. Another success project for STAG I believe.
Du'O' 2023 is scheduled for Sunday 27th August somewhere.
