Local level event

Explanation of Event levels

Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Activities are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Report

Yes it was a very wet one this evening. Thank-you to everyone who made the effort to attend. If you didn't perhaps you still believe the myth that ' Cumbernauld' isn't worth the visit - well you are completely wrong ask Jon or Paul or Kyle or Arnis if it was a worthwhile venture & then perhaps we might see you next time.

My sincere thanks to Colin, Jo, John, Kirsty & Andy who assisted in clearing the Park and finally to Gerry who has been ever present at all the STAG Evening Events and handled a very busy Registration/Download/Results with ease.

Map / Terrain

This area was first mapped in 2015 & why I never looked at it before is a mystery ! A wonderful area to the north of the M80 (Aria Statue is on the southern edge) a real mixture with fine running and minimal undergrowth of the scratch kind. Pockets of intricate detail.
