Explanation of Event levels

Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Activities are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Many thanks for your support & my apologies regarding Control 31's location. When STAG had the Cumbernauld Park map upgraded in 2015 we didn't appreciate that as the survey was being carried out in 'The Summer' that previous data from the previous map wouldn't be incorporated.

To-day's map attempted to combine details from both but I missed the most obvious/simple changes so my apologies again.

Thanks to John McK for planning; to all STAG Members who assisted with welcoming our Spanish Guests; ran Registration, run the Start & helped bring in controls.

We must also extend a really BIG THANK-YOU to John McLelland who opened up the Studio for us & for providing the hot drink options & to the ever present STAG supporter & Scottish SI Guru Mr. Robin Strain.

The 4th Event in the 5 Event Series - being planned by Fredrik - @ Strathclyde Country Park, Motherwell in May 2019. The 5th event, post Strathearn is still a bit up in the air as the proposed area hasn't been used since the early 1990s & discussions regarding the map funding appear to have stalled.
