Explanation of Event levels
Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Activities are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

In Sports Centre Car Park with overflow on Wellshot Road & a joining Streets.

Starts from 12 Noon. Juniors & Social competitors may uplift their maps from The Education Room from 11:45am.
Course Information
Loose Control Descriptions are now available to download. (6:30pm on Thursday 29th November 2018.)
No loose CDs shall be supplied by the Organisers.
A studded shoe is advised. You can only cross the Tollcross Burn using the 4 bridges as the stream is otherwise marked as uncrossable.
3 of the bridges have a tarmac surface & the other wooden planks & this one in particular could be slippy if the weather is wet.
The majority of control sites shall have the SI Unit cabled to the feature & the Code Number shown only on the Unit itself.

The map image to the right says Scale 1:5000 but this oops has been corrected & it is really Scale 1:4000.
