Explanation of Event levels
Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Activities are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Course Information
The format for next Wednesday's activity is as follows
Park Short - Uses a selection of posts from the permanent course within the park. Approximately 2km
Medium has 2 options - As above but also has 3 other controls all within the park with sites marked with Red & White sticky tape. Option 1 - Approximately 4km (doubles as 20min Sprint Postbox O Course or Option 2 as Long Map but with a 40 minute time limit.
Long - Combination of Medium controls in Tollcross Park and Postbox 'O' of surrounding area - Parkhead Cross > Killin St; Carntyne Rd > London Rd. with maps printed back to back. The Postbox O part visiting all controls on direct line (which isn't possible) is in itself approximately 9km. :) 60 minutes allowed.

Pre-registration required by 10am on Tuesday 29 June by filling in the registration form.

Dog restrictions
Well-behaved dogs on leads welcome.
