The largest ever STAG Dark Park Event with 32 entries - Thank-you.

Results updated 10:10pm Friday - apologies for forgetting to tick all course boxes within SI Timing Programme.

We extend our admiration to the squad from WESTIES who joined in this evening. Orienteering is hard enough to master during the day but at NIGHT everything gets so much more difficult. You have our respect and we hope to see many of you again this season & then into the Spring or our Postbox 'O' Series.

The STAG Newbies who also turned up in numbers are also to be congratulated.

Having a decent headtorch is a necessity and we have found that torches available through Amazon, advertised as Bike Torches with rechargeable batteries are a sound investment - eg BORUIT - Rechargeable Battery & Ultra Bright 6000 Lumen Super Bright LED Lamp - £18.99. The Club does have a couple of these and they are available for STAG members to borrow but requests must be made at least a week before any event.

Thanks to Gerry for both planning & covering Registration/Download & to Rudi & Fredrik who helped me bring in controls.

Next Dark Park is on Wednesday 22nd January @ Hogganfield & Lethamhill Golf Course. The area is in 2 distinct parts both with their own challenges- why not join us ?

Kind regards

Terry
